Overall Rating |  | Nice family-run hotel in a great location in Wengen. A recent refit has been done well but needs some softening. Not quite at level of quality the "boutique" label would imply. |
Rooms | | Good size and recently renovated. Functional rather than luxurious. |

Food & Beverage | | The hotel restaurant was a pleasant but somewhat bland space helped out by beautiful views. Breakfast had a decent selection including good quality hot selections. Dinner menu was pricey and mixed quality but pizzas were good. |
Cleanliness |  | Overall, the hotel was extremely clean. Would have been 5 stars except they missed servicing our room one of the days. Had to request refills of bathroom amenities. |
Service | | Very friendly and welcoming service overall. It would have been nice to offer some help with the bags to and from the station however. |
Location |  | The hotel is very close to the centre of the village and the station. Views down the Lauterbrunnen valley and up to to mountains were stunning. |
Amenities | | A few simple enhancements could shift this hotel from good to excellent in line with the boutique pitch. Everything you need but no frills. |
Description Accuracy | | Overall, what was described and the hotel website's pictures were accurate. |
Extras | | There weren't really an extras to note however the bar area with the open fire was a nice place to start the evening. Improvements in the quality of the furnishings and softening of the decor would provide a more luxurious feel. |
Overall value | | Despite the peak season timing, the accommodation pricing was good value and the quality better than other similarly priced options. |
Would I stay again? |  | Overall it was a good experience and while I would be inclined to try other options in the same location, I would stay here again. |
